Refund Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for a Korahire subscription. It forms part of our Terms of Service; where the two documents address refunds, this policy prevails.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If Korahire is not the right fit, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge. No justification is required, and the request does not depend on how much you used the Service during that period.
- The guarantee applies once per workspace, to the first payment on that workspace.
- It covers both monthly and yearly plans.
- The 14 days run from the date the charge was taken, not from the date you created your account.
- Once the refund is issued, the subscription is cancelled and access to paid features ends.
2. Free trials
Where a plan includes a free trial, no payment is taken until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends you are never charged, so there is nothing to refund. If the trial converts into a paid subscription, the 14-day guarantee above applies to that first charge.
3. Renewals
Renewal payments are not refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically, and we send a renewal notice before a yearly subscription renews so you have time to cancel. You are responsible for cancelling before a renewal if you no longer want the subscription.
We will, however, refund a renewal that was charged despite a cancellation you had already submitted — see section 6.
4. Cancellation is not the same as a refund
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access open until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not issue partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused remainder of a billing period, and we do not refund a period you have already used.
5. Plan changes
- When you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately and the price difference for the remainder of the period is handled by our payment provider at the time of the change.
- When you downgrade, the lower price applies from your next billing period. Downgrading does not generate a refund for the current period.
- Changing plan during a free trial does not trigger a charge or a refund.
6. Billing errors and service failures
Outside the 14-day window, we will still refund you where:
- you were charged twice for the same billing period;
- you were charged after validly cancelling your subscription;
- you were charged on the wrong plan or at the wrong price through our error; or
- the Service was materially unavailable for a prolonged period during the term you paid for.
In these cases we refund the affected amount regardless of when the charge occurred. Contact us and we will investigate.
7. When we may decline a refund
We may refuse a refund request where:
- the 14-day window has passed and none of the circumstances in section 6 apply;
- the workspace has already been refunded under this policy;
- the account was suspended or terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service; or
- the request is manifestly abusive, for example repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, stating your workspace name and the charge concerned. We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and aim to reach a decision within 5 business days.
9. How refunds are issued
Paddle acts as the merchant of record for Korahire subscriptions, so approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account. Once Paddle issues the refund, the funds typically appear within 3 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any refund is made in the currency of the original charge; we are not responsible for exchange rate differences or fees applied by your bank.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. Where such a right applies and is more favourable than this policy, that right prevails.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The policy in force at the date of your charge is the one that applies to that charge.
